The 2027 BlaqOut Ecosystem Masterplan

Designing the Architecture of Care

A dynamic blueprint for a closed-loop urban ecosystem where clinical care, housing stability, community, research, leadership development, and capital strategy move as one living system.

Designing for the margins protects the mainstream

Technical Specification 1

Worst outcomes, strongest signal

Black queer men experience some of the worst healthcare outcomes in the country.

Technical Specification 2

Better systems for everyone

When the care model closes gaps for the most marginalized, it creates a stronger healthcare product for everyone along the way.

Ultimate Stress-Test

The margin is the proving ground

BlaqOut does not just serve the margins. The margins become the design test for a better universal system.

Legacy care

  • Symptomatic: treats immediate illness while ignoring housing instability.
  • Siloed: separates medical care from mental health, finance, and community.
  • Transactional: fee-for-service models punish high-frequency needs.
  • Opaque: hidden costs, confusing networks, sterile waiting rooms.

The treatment

  • Root-cause: integrates clinical care with housing and income stability.
  • Ecosystemic: health, pharmacy, and leadership coexist across a multi-building campus.
  • Subscription-based: transparent monthly membership with limitless access.
  • Third-space: co-working, education, belonging, and warmth built into the care model.

Meeting capacity with systems, not people

Strategic Medical Partnership
Cerebro Operating System
Compliance & Capital

3 Buildings. 2 Blocks. 1 Ecosystem.

Clinical & Community

The Black Box

The anchor facility for direct primary care, community programming, and co-working.

Research & Operations

Cornerstones

Organizational headquarters, research facilities, and a drive-thru community pharmacy hub.

Leadership & Strategy

The Hyde Center

A dedicated sanctuary and strategy lab for training, residencies, and movement building.

You cannot prescribe stability

40%

Approximately 40% of all unhoused people are LGBTQ, creating a hidden homelessness reality of couch-surfing and dangerous environments.

Clinical Fault Tree

Housing instability creates a loss of geographic anchor, making medication adherence, dietary care, and transportation for critical procedures harder to sustain. Shelter is not enough. Housing must function as healthcare infrastructure.

Housing as a wealth engine

1. Stabilization

Members enter with Universal Basic Income support.

2. Incubation

A portion of UBI is diverted into co-op shares.

3. Ownership

Members transition from lease-to-own into signature homes.

4. Liquidity

Members can sell units back to the co-op, keeping the cycle open.

The Catalyst Multiplier

Be the spark that makes the corridor move.

A foundational letter of support from a legacy institution can become the financial currency that unlocks larger banking relationships and secondary local investment.

We are asking you to be that catalyst.
